It’s time to re-connect with Nature. During your time in Socotra, a beautiful island of Yemen, you will connect with nature in many ways. Whether it be swimming, hiking, or camping you will get to unplug from modern life to reroot yourself in nature. 

Day 1 -Arrival and "check in" 

After arriving at the airport and enjoying a scenic drive to Arher Beach, you will settle into the camp, enjoy lunch and get to know the group and the host! Soak in where you landed and get redy to re-connect with nature as there is no wi-fi connection for the next week. Consider ti a free digital detox.

Day 2 - Explore Homhil - a natural swimming pool

Rise and shine! After an early breakfast get ready to drive to Wadi Shaifa, where you will hike up to Homhil (a natural swimming pool) for about one hour! It’s time to head back to the cars and back to Arher beach for your lunch. In the afternoon, you will be head to the spot where the Arabian sea and the Indian Ocean meet! After that, enjoy some tea while chatting with locals before heading back to Arher Camp!

Day 3 - Momi Plateau, Wadi and Dihamri Camp

After breakfast it’s time for you to enjoy another drive to Momi Plateau where you will trek down to Wadi Qalyshaan to take photos and enjoy swimming in the fresh water! Then you will enjoy a safari lunch inside the Wadi with great food and beautiful views.  Now that you have had a bit of a break to catch your breath, it time to go back to Dihamri Marine where you will get to snorkel! After that amazing dinner will be served at Camp Dihamri.

Day 4 - Wadi Difa, Hayaf desert and Zaheq sand dunes

After breakfast you will drive through Wadi Difa before taking a short stop for swimming and lunch under the palms trees! After you have enjoyed your food and views, it is time to continue your drive up to the desert of Hayaf and to see the Zaheq sand dunes! You will enjoy dinner and before heading to bed at Camp Zaheq.

Day 5- Daigau Cave and Omaq beach

After breakfast, you will drive directly to Daigub Cave and then to Omaq beach for lunch and to swim! This is a relaxing day! Enjoy a beach day before driving to Dixam Plateau for dinner and sleeping at Camp Kipany.

Day 6 - Canyon Wadi Dairhor and Dragon's Blood tree

Enjoy breakfast before driving down to canyon of Wadi Dairhor! Here you will have short walk through the canyon, have some time to swim, and continue up the forest of Dragon’s Blood Trees. You will continue your journey to Fermhin Plateau and while returning you will stop for lunch under the Dragon’s Blood Trees shade. Once lunch is finished you will drive to Qalansyia Detwah Sanctuary lagoon and sandy beach for some swimming and sunbathing. Reaxing dinner and bed time.

Day 7 - Shoap beach

In the morning, after you have indulged in an early breakfast, get ready for your next activity! You will drive to the Qalansyia District! But that’s not the best part, from there, you will have enjoy a boat ride to Shoap (a crystal clear beach)! But before arriving to beach, you will have the chance to take photos of Dolphins and even swim among them. What an unreal experience! However, this is not the end of it! You will then enjoy another activity where you catch fish and head to Shaab (a golden white sandy beach)! This is what dreams are made! Now that we have had a fun filled morning, it’s time to take a boat back to the campsite for your lunch! After lunch there will be another activity held by well _ known Cave Man! He will guide you through the lagoon showing you how to fish: Squade, Sting Ray's, Balloon fish, Turtles and so on. After another beautiful day, enjoy dinner and some rest at Camp Detwah.

Day 8 - Time to say Goodbye

 

After breakfast we will drive you to the airport for your flight back home! We hope you had the best time and hope to see you soon! Until then catch us on Social Media!

• Please note this is a camping trip. You will sleep outdoors in a tent. There are basic shower and toilets available.
• Please expect slow to none wi -fi connection.
• Your spot is only guaranteed after you have paid reservation fee of 500Eur. In case you can not make it to the event, you have the right to cancel within 30 days of purchase and receive a 100% refund less the reservation fee. For later cancellations there are no refunds guaranteed, but if we fill your spot you will get the full refund less the reservation fee.
